The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency has announced a $40 million grant program to support greenhouse gas reduction projects at industrial food and beverage facilities. REP can help combine grant funds and tax credits to pay for 100% of a large-scale solar project.

The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency has announced a $40 million grant program to support greenhouse gas reduction projects at industrial food and beverage facilities. REP can help combine grant funds and tax credits to pay for 100% of a large-scale solar project.

Eligible facilities include industrial food and beverage manufacturing facilities, including support facilities for storage and distribution.

Eligible projects include on-site solar energy installations for electricity, along with other energy-efficiency measures.

Grant applications are open through July 1, with another application round open until October 1.

Grants can cover 60% of eligible project costs and require a 40% match — which can come from federal solar tax credits.

Federal tax credits expire July 4, but REP can help you safe-harbor those tax credits through 2030.
